During winter months the famous Jackson Hole Hootenanny relocates from Dornan's to the historic Silver Dollar Bar. This acoustic open mic welcomes all performers for two-song sets in an intimate downtown setting.

About The Wort Hotel

The Wort Hotel is a historic landmark in downtown Jackson Wyoming that has welcomed guests since 1941. The hotel combines classic Western elegance with modern amenities and sits just steps from Town Square.

The Silver Dollar Bar

The famous Silver Dollar Bar features 2032 uncirculated 1921 Morgan Silver Dollars inlaid in its serpentine bar top. First opened in 1950 the bar has been a hotspot for drinking socializing and live music for over 70 years. The bar's Western decor and vintage atmosphere create an authentic Jackson Hole experience.

Hootenanny Winter Home

Since October 2021 the Hootenanny has called the Silver Dollar Bar home during winter months when Dornan's outdoor venue is closed. This partnership allows the nearly 30-year tradition to continue year-round. The intimate indoor setting creates a different but equally special atmosphere for performers and audience members. Meet me at the Wort has been a common refrain in Jackson for decades and the Hootenanny reinforces this gathering place tradition.
