About Fitzgerald's Bar & Live Music Venue

Fitzgerald's is San Antonio's premier live music venue with a spacious 30ft x 19ft stage and 4000 sq ft bar. This venue has become a cornerstone of the local music scene since opening.

Weekly Music Events

The venue hosts three distinct open mic opportunities every Wednesday creating what they call the Open Mic Trilogy. The R&R Musicians Pro Jam runs from 2-5 PM with a focus on soulful blues and southern rock. The Working Class Open Mic follows from 5-9 PM (all ages welcome with a parent) featuring talent of every kind including comedians. The late-night Open Mic Jam Night kicks off at 9 PM and runs until 1 AM for ages 21 and up.

Live Shows and Tribute Acts

Fridays and Saturdays feature live music from diverse genres including blues metal southern rock and tribute bands covering acts like Judas Priest AC/DC Van Halen Dokken and Ozzy Osbourne. The venue is known for booking both emerging local artists and established national acts.

Features include a full backline for performers professional sound and lighting free parking outdoor patio and a well-stocked bar with domestic premium and craft beers plus mocktail options. Happy hour runs all day Wednesdays with specials on Lone Star wells and select spirits. The venue capacity is 220 people making for an intimate yet energetic atmosphere.
