WordPlace: The Southern Tier Literary Center

WordPlace is a literary center on the southwest corner of the historic Bundy Campus in Binghamton, affiliated with the Bundy Museum of History & Art and dedicated to spoken word, poetry and prose.

Poetry Open Mic

WordPlace hosts a Poetry Open Mic Thursday, led by Bundy Museum Poet-in-Residence J. Barrett Wolf, running from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM with sign-up beginning at 7:45 PM. Performers get five to seven minutes to share up to three pieces of poetry, prose or spoken word.

WordPlace and the adjoining Bundy Museum host a broader calendar of literary and cultural programming, including featured-poet nights and community readings.
