About Ginkgo Coffeehouse

Ginkgo Coffeehouse has been serving the Twin Cities since 1993 - making it one of St. Paul's longest-running independent coffee shops. This locally owned establishment operates two locations in Midway and Downtown St. Paul.

Music Programming

The Snelling Avenue location hosts open mic nights on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6-8 PM. The venue also presents the Local Musician Series featuring donation-based concerts on Friday and ticketed shows on Saturday nights. The intimate coffeehouse setting creates a welcoming environment for acoustic performances.

Venue Character

Ginkgo exudes an old-school - non-pretentious coffeehouse vibe with eclectic decor - mismatched furniture - and local artwork adorning the walls. The space serves as a vibrant gathering place for students - artists - and community members. The menu features quality coffee including specialty lattes like the Tundra Turtle - fresh pastries - sandwiches - and soups.
