About Club Passim
Club Passim is a legendary nonprofit listening room that has been a cornerstone of New England's music community since 1958. Originally known as Club 47 the venue has hosted icons like Joan Baez Bob Dylan Joni Mitchell and countless others who shaped American folk music.
The Venue Experience
Located in a cozy basement space in Harvard Square Club Passim offers an intimate setting where every seat provides excellent sightlines and acoustics. The venue presents over 400 shows per year ranging from traditional folk and bluegrass to singer-songwriter performances.
Music Programming
In addition to its regular concert series Passim hosts the annual Down Home Up Here bluegrass and old-time festival featuring workshops and jam sessions. The venue also runs open mic nights and maintains a School of Music offering workshops and classes for aspiring musicians of all ages.
