About Boise Hive

Boise Hive is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community space dedicated to supporting musicians and the music community through affordable rehearsal space - free mental health counseling - and educational programs. Located in the historic Custom Recording & Sound building on the Boise Bench.

Mission & Services

The Hive's mission is to prevent suicide in the music community by offering counseling - education - referrals - and mental health services for musicians. The venue maintains an alcohol and drug-free all-ages environment.

Music Programs

Boise Hive hosts Open Mic Nights - Live at the Hive Saturday concerts - Jazz Jam sessions - and various music education programs. The venue features four studios/rehearsal spaces - a community room - multimedia room - recording studio - and more. Regular programs include Student Jazz - Audio Recording Classes - Veterans Sessions - and Hip Hop at The Hive.
