About Adinkra Lounge / Ashe Cultural Arts Center

Adinkra Lounge is located within the Ashe Cultural Arts Center on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in New Orleans. The space provides a platform for creative expression rooted in African American culture and arts.

The Open Mic Night

Monthly open mic nights welcome performers of all levels to share their talents. Whether seasoned performers or first-timers, everyone is invited to take the stage. The event is free and open to the public.

Format and Atmosphere

Doors open at 7:00 PM with the mic opening at 7:30 PM. Performers can sign up on the spot. The atmosphere is supportive and encouraging, focused on building community through shared artistic expression.
