About bmc brewing

bmc brewing (Bite My Cookies Brewing Company) is a family-owned nanobrewery located in the heart of The Plant complex in Pittsboro. The brewery opened in 2021 and serves Chatham County with 18 taps of beer brewed on-site using locally sourced ingredients. The taproom features indoor and outdoor seating and hosts regular music events including open mics and acoustic jam sessions.

Music and Community Events

Beyond the monthly songwriter open mic the venue hosts acoustic jam sessions twice monthly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The brewery is part of the Chatham Beverage District at The Plant which also includes Starrlight Mead Fair Game Beverage Company Chatham Cider Works and other local businesses. Regular events include Whiskey Wednesdays Tequila Tuesdays game nights and live music performances.

The Venue

The building houses the taproom brewery and Smelt Art Gallery creating a unique atmosphere for music and community gathering. bmc brewing prioritizes sustainability using solar power and processing spent grains into flour for their signature cookies. The brewery supports the local community through partnerships with non-profits and focuses on creating a welcoming family-friendly environment.
