Vinnie's Bar & Grill
Vinnie's Bar & Grill is a downtown Concord bar and grill a block from Todos Santos Park and a short walk from Concord BART. It is a laid-back neighborhood spot with pool tables darts and a backyard patio and it hosts one of the biggest band-friendly open mics in the East Bay.
Atmosphere and Vibe
Vinnie's is eclectic and welcoming. It is open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily and serves breakfast and pub fare like burgers wings and salads. On music nights the huge stage and sound system turn the bar into a real rock room and dancing is encouraged.
Monday Open Mic
Vinnie's Open Mic runs every Monday from 8:45 PM to midnight with hosts Joey Nunez and Vince Lay. Sign-up is in person at 8:00 PM. Performers get two songs depending on length and full bands are welcome. Solo performers can be backed by house players on bass guitar drums keys and sometimes trumpet. Covers and backing tracks are welcome and originals are encouraged. Comedy opens the night every third Monday.
