Thank You Miami Cocina & Beerhouse is an irreverent and friendly establishment that opened in 2021 and has quickly become a cornerstone of Miami's open mic and live music scene. The venue is best known for its Wednesday night open mic hosted by Trikstah featuring spoken word poetry modern R&B singing and heartfelt performances. The event runs from 8pm to midnight with sign-ups starting at 8:30pm. Musicians are allowed two songs per set while comedians get five-minute sets. The open mic has soul that goes to 11pm with a steady stream of diverse performers wrapping heartfelt often soul-baring truth in folk songs hip-hop flows torch croons rat-a-tat poems and vocal register-defying soul. The atmosphere balances loose fun with deep profound meaning.
