About Wild Bill's

Wild Bill's is Memphis's last surviving authentic Delta juke joint located in the historic Vollintine-Evergreen neighborhood. Operating for over 25 years this legendary venue offers an unfiltered authentic blues experience far from the polished tourist venues of Beale Street.

The Sunday Jam

Every Sunday afternoon Wild Bill's hosts a blues jam session where visiting musicians can join the house band led by Don Valentine and The Juke Joint AllStars. Unlike the late-night shows the Sunday jam runs in the early evening making it accessible for families and early birds. Musicians bring instruments and join in - guitars drums vocals even tambourine players are welcomed on stage.

Atmosphere & Food

The venue features red walls intimate communal seating and an authentic juke joint atmosphere. Soul Food Sundays offer traditional Southern cuisine. The venue operates on a BYOB liquor policy (beer sold on-site) with mixers and ice available. Cover charges apply for evening shows but the Sunday jam maintains an accessible community-focused vibe.

Regular Programming

Friday and Saturday nights feature the Juke Joint AllStars performing from 11 PM to 3 AM. Thursday nights offer Don Valentine Big Blues. The venue is known for spontaneous performances with musicians often arriving mid-set to join the band.
