About The Rino

The Rino is a music venue and event space located in the River North District of Kansas City. The name Rino is short for River North reflecting the venues location in one of KCs coolest up-and-coming neighborhoods north of the river.

Open Mic Programming

Free Monday Song Lab music open mic from 7-10 PM. All skill levels and genres welcome. The venue is passionate about supporting local music and touring artists with 100% of cover charges going to performers.

Venue Space

200-person capacity venue with excellent acoustics stage and A/V equipment. The Rino operates as a free co-working space during the day opening at 7 AM. Full bar service available during events.

Location and Accessibility

Located in the vibrant River North district just a short bridge from City Market. The neighborhood is growing rapidly with new restaurants cafes and cultural spaces. Free co-working space available alongside Cultivar coffee next door.
