Slim's Last Chance

Slim's Last Chance is a chili shack and watering hole in Georgetown that doubles as one of South Seattle's favorite roots and rock stages. It is known for big bowls of chili and a roomy stage that hosts rockabilly and country and punk and blues. It has even been featured on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives.

The Story Behind Slim's

Michael and Celeste Lucas opened Slim's in 2007 as a Georgetown chili parlor and live music room. When the couple announced plans to move to California in early 2026 the community worried the bar would go dark. Instead Together In Music which is the team behind Tim's Tavern in White Center stepped in to run it. Owner Mason Reed pledged to keep the staff and honor existing bookings and protect the venue's spirit. The new chapter began on February 16 2026 after a weekend of farewell shows.

The Vibe

Slim's feels like a roadhouse dropped into an industrial neighborhood. It is loud and friendly and a little rowdy with a crowd that loves roots rock and a good bowl of chili.

What They Serve

Chili is the star with plenty of toppings and sides and the wings get raves too. The bar serves beer and cocktails.
