September's Too

September's Too is a neighborhood tavern and sports bar on Central Avenue in Albany, with an outdoor patio featuring a gazebo, firepits and cornhole alongside a full indoor bar and stage area.

Atmosphere and Setting

The bar leans into a casual sports-bar identity most nights, with televisions and bar food, but its performance nights bring in a dedicated crowd of local musicians and regulars.

The Premier Open Mic

Every Thursday night at 8:00 PM, host Cool Universe runs The Premier Open Mic, a structured show that opens with a 10-minute set followed by a 17-minute featured artist performance before the open list begins. Each performer on the open list gets two songs or 10 minutes, whichever comes first, and backline is provided for all musicians, singers and artists.

September's Too also runs karaoke nights, other live music bookings and food specials such as 25-cent wing days throughout the week.
