Red Stick Social

Red Stick Social is a large, multi-purpose entertainment venue in Baton Rouge's Mid City area, combining a restaurant, full bar, bowling lanes and a stage under one roof. Since opening in 2019, it has positioned itself as one of the capital city's premier gathering spots for food, drinks and live entertainment.

Atmosphere and Setting

The space is spacious and modern, with a dedicated performance area, professional sound and lighting, and enough room to host everything from intimate acoustic nights to full-band showcases alongside its bowling and dining areas.

Open Jam Night

Red Stick Social hosts a weekly Thursday night Open Jam, welcoming solo performers, full bands and everyone in between to sign up for stage time. The house provides a five-piece acoustic drum kit, multiple microphones, keyboard and guitar amp plugins, and even camera stands so performers can record their sets, with a rotation of regular jam night hosts keeping the evening moving.

Other Programming

Beyond the weekly jam, Red Stick Social's calendar includes happy hours, themed dance nights, karaoke, watch parties for LSU and Saints games, and a weekend brunch series.

For Performers

Performers are asked to sign up in advance by emailing the venue's music team, after which they are placed on the evening's stage-time rotation.
