About Third Space Cafe

Third Space Cafe and Entertainment is a hybrid cafe and performance venue that opened in 2025 in downtown Buffalo's theater district. By day it serves locally roasted coffee breakfast sandwiches and lunch. In the evenings it transforms into an entertainment hub hosting live music comedy and open mic nights.

The venue embodies the concept of a third space - a gathering place beyond home and work. With comfortable seating including couches chairs and communal tables it's designed for both productivity and socializing. The space features a full stage with professional sound and lighting systems making it ideal for performances.

Entertainment Schedule

In addition to Thursday open mics the venue hosts Music is Art Fridays from 5-7pm featuring different local musicians each week. Comedy open mics and other special events happen regularly. The venue collaborates with nearby theaters like Shea's and Town Ballroom creating synergy with the district's cultural offerings.

Food and Beverages

The cafe serves breakfast until 3pm and offers sandwiches and snacks in the evening. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. Beverages include coffee espresso tea beer wine and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty drinks. The kitchen operates until 2pm daily.
