About Nirvana Soul Coffee

Nirvana Soul Coffee is a vibrant community-centered coffee shop in downtown San Jose founded by sisters Jeronica Macey and Be'Anka Ashaolu. Opened during the COVID-19 pandemic as one of the city's first Black women-owned cafés this welcoming space serves specialty lattes gourmet pastries and thoughtfully sourced locally roasted coffee.

Music and Events

The venue hosts Nirvana Soul After Dark open mic nights every Friday from 6-9 PM welcoming musicians poets and comedians of all experience levels. The cafe also features rotating local artwork small business pop-ups and community events creating a joyful creative atmosphere.
