One Longfellow Square
One Longfellow Square calls itself Portland's Listening Room and Portland's most intimate music venue. It sits in the city's West End at the entrance to the Arts District and offers a warm and intimate atmosphere for live music and performing arts and community events.
Atmosphere and Setting
As a listening room the focus is on the performer and the audience paying attention which makes it a memorable place for a first stage experience in front of a friendly crowd.
Monthly Open Mic Night
One Longfellow Square hosts an open mic on the first Wednesday of the month from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Each month features a different host and often a featured artist. Recent listings include hosts Sigrid Sibley and Melvin Gradiz and Thomas Clukey with Curl Tapes as a featured act in October. Other Programming
The venue offers live streaming for select shows and free outdoor concerts in Congress Square Park as part of its access initiatives.
