Since 1982 Nietzsche's has been a cornerstone of Buffalo's music scene. This legendary venue on Allen Street features live music seven nights a week in an intimate eclectic setting. The venue is known for its vibrant masks and unique artwork that create a bohemian atmosphere.

Weekly Music Events

Beyond the Monday open mic Nietzsche's hosts Jazz Cache every Sunday from 8:30pm-12am with rotating jazz musicians. The venue also features Celtic Sessions on Saturdays from 4-7pm The Steam Donkeys perform cosmic Americana every Tuesday from 6-8:30pm and there's a monthly bluegrass and old-time jam session on the first Wednesday of each month from 9-11:30pm.

Located in the historic Allentown neighborhood this intimate club has a capacity of 248 and maintains an authentic dive bar character while showcasing incredible talent. With reasonable drink prices and no cover for many events it's a favorite among local music lovers.
