About Barzarre

Established in 2004 - Barzarre is Wilmington's most eclectic bohemian art bar and performance venue. Located on the fringe of downtown Wilmington - this unique spot attracts artists - performers - bookworms - beer enthusiasts and curiosity-seekers alike with its gritty charm and adventurous spirit.

Music and Performance Events

Barzarre hosts an incredibly diverse array of live entertainment ranging from rock bands and DJs to circus sideshows and burlesque. The weekly Open Mic Mondays are legendary - welcoming musicians - comedians - poets - improvisers and performers of any genre. Guest chefs can even participate in 'Open Mouth' - an experimental food showcase. Touring musical acts frequently appear for featured sets.

Venue Features and Atmosphere

The venue offers a full spirits bar with over 170 craft beers - spiked seltzers - kombuchas and specialty cocktails. Three outdoor patios provide additional space for gatherings including a weekly drum circle. Open daily from noon until at least midnight (2AM on weekends) - Barzarre maintains an accessible bohemian atmosphere with affordable drink prices and a $3.50 taco menu. Additional events include belly dance showcases - circus artist meetups and various fringe performances throughout the week.
