About Bourbon Theatre

The Bourbon Theatre is located inside a completely remodeled 1920 movie theatre and has emerged as a premier music venue in Nebraska's capital city. Since opening in 2009 it has undergone numerous renovations and upgrades to become one of the most sought-after clubs in the Midwest.

Open Mic Night

Every Monday at 8pm the Bourbon Theatre hosts open mic night which continues until close. The event is open to all facets of music and has an 18+ age requirement. Special time slots are set aside for featured local and touring acts making it a platform for both emerging and established artists.

The Venue

Originally a turn-of-the-century movie theater the Bourbon has the ability to host events large and small making it a unique and intimate space to see a show. The venue features a bar stocked with a wide variety of whiskeys tended by experienced bartenders. Situated in downtown Lincoln just a few blocks from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln it is a pillar in the bustling strip of bars restaurants retail and entertainment on O Street.

Whether fans enjoy rock country rap blues or anything in between the Bourbon Theatre offers a diverse calendar of events. Recent and upcoming performances have included bands across many genres making it a cornerstone of Lincoln's music scene. The vintage marquee at 1415 O Street announces upcoming acts and has become an iconic landmark in downtown Lincoln.
