Austin Texas Musicians (ATXM) runs Night Shift as a free monthly music-industry mixer with a lottery open mic. Musicians venues producers and nonprofits mingle then names are drawn to play.

Generally first Tuesdays from 7:00 to 10:00 PM with music from 8:00. Venues rotate — Hotel Vegas on East 6th is a recent example. RSVP through ATXM then enter the lottery on arrival.

Ideal if you want stage time plus scene connections in one night.
