New Dawn Arts Center is a volunteer-run, nonprofit, secular community arts organization in a historic property at the corner of Chapel and Main Streets in Ashburnham.

Atmosphere and Setting

New Dawn is an all-ages community arts hub rather than a bar or restaurant, hosting classes, concerts, theater, art markets, and galleries throughout the year.

The Openest Mic

On a monthly Thursday evening, New Dawn hosts a numbered, long-running open mic and acoustic music jam series known as The Openest Mic, running from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Other Programming

Beyond its open mic series, New Dawn's calendar spans theater productions, art markets, classes, and community events for all ages.
