About Kirby's Beer Store

Kirby's Beer Store has been a cornerstone of Wichita's underground music scene since 1972. This no-frills dive bar is a legendary music venue known for hosting raw - energetic performances in an environment that welcomes everyone.

Live Music

The venue hosts live music any night of the week with Mondays reserved for open mic and jam sessions. All shows are free and start at 10 PM unless otherwise noted. With both indoor and outdoor stages - Kirby's offers intimate gigs and outdoor concerts.

Venue Amenities

Next door is Kirby's Flipside - a retro-inspired pinball arcade with vintage machines. The bar features super reasonably priced drinks and personable bartenders. Special events include the long-running Goth Nite (25+ years) and the annual MeatFest music festival.
