About The 806 Coffee + Lounge

Established in 2007 in Amarillo's Historic Route 66 District The 806 Coffee + Lounge has become a cultural cornerstone for the city's artistic community. This coffee house and performance venue combines quality beverages with regular live entertainment and art exhibitions.

Open Mic Nights

The 806 hosts Amarillo's longest-running open mic series with regular events on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. A Music Open Mic takes place on the 3rd Wednesday and a Fright Night Open Mic happens on the 3rd Thursday. The venue also features a monthly jazz jam session led by local musicians.

Venue Atmosphere

The space features vintage furniture alongside contemporary art from local artists creating an inviting and inspiring atmosphere. Monthly art walks and First Thursday events showcase local talent with art openings receptions and live music starting at 9pm.
