About Dornan's

Dornan's is a family-owned establishment in Grand Teton National Park that has been serving the community since 1922. The venue offers breathtaking views of the Teton Range and sits along the Snake River in Moose Wyoming.

The Hootenanny Tradition

The Jackson Hole Hootenanny began in the 1950s as informal jam sessions under the Snake River bridge led by legendary mountaineer Bill Briggs. After moving to Dornan's in the 1990s the event has become one of Jackson's most beloved musical traditions. During summer months the Hootenanny takes place outdoors at the Chuckwagon stage while winter sessions move to the Silver Dollar Bar at the Wort Hotel downtown.

Other Events at Dornan's

Beyond the Hootenanny Dornan's hosts various community gatherings and offers year-round dining at their Pizza & Pasta Company. The venue features a Trading Post grocery store wine shop and seasonal outdoor Chuckwagon restaurant making it a complete destination within Grand Teton National Park.
