Join us for a relaxed midweek session where singers songwriters and players can share a few songs try out new material and connect with the South Sound music community over a fresh craft beer.
What to Expect
Open Mic Night at Firemind is built for performers of every level. Solo acoustic players duos and singer-songwriters fit the format well and both originals and covers are welcome. The taproom is friendly and no-frills and the crowd of regulars and neighborhood beer fans is supportive so it is a comfortable place for a first-ever performance or for road-testing a brand-new song.

Firemind does not publish a host name or house gear list for the open mic so plan to bring your own instrument and any cables you need. The taproom's listed Wednesday hours run from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM so check firemindbrewing.com or the brewery's Instagram and Facebook for the current start time before heading out. Arriving early is the best way to get a good spot on the list.
More Music at Firemind
Firemind also books live music in the taproom. Touring rock singer-songwriter Walker Sherman played a Wednesday evening show in July 2026 and local artists such as Kaitie Wade have performed there too. A strong open mic set can be a great way to get on the brewery's radar for a future show.
About the Venue
Firemind Brewing is a craft microbrewery in the former Station U-Brew space in downtown Puyallup. It brews small-batch IPAs hazy IPAs stouts saisons and specialty beers such as Spicy Boy Brain Haze and a Marionberry Saison. The taproom is family friendly with complimentary snacks and a food truck often parked outside.
