Hold Fast Brewing - Community-Centric Jazz Destination

Hold Fast Brewing is the only all-female-owned microbrewery in southwest Missouri, founded by sisters Carol and Susan McLeod in honor of their father's legacy. Located in historic downtown Springfield in a converted fire station, the brewery has become renowned for hosting exceptional live jazz performances.

Music Programming

Every Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM, Hold Fast hosts live jazz with no cover charge. The venue features rotating jazz lineups including The Brueggemann Gouge Jazz Band with Ladies of Jazz vocalists and MOJO Lite, a seven-piece ensemble from the Missouri Jazz Orchestra. The Tuesday night programming draws 100-200 jazz enthusiasts weekly and has been a consistent staple for several years.

Craft Beer Selection

Hand-crafted beers are brewed on-site by Brew Master Susan McLeod. The selection includes traditional styles and creative seasonal offerings, plus non-alcoholic options and craft ciders. The brewery also features adult slushies (Zamboozy) and canned cocktails for diverse preferences.

The converted fire station features spacious indoor seating and outdoor patio areas. Daily rotating food trucks provide dining options from BBQ to Thai to gourmet pizza. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere encourages community gathering and conversation. Games and entertainment complement the live music experience.
