Hi-Fidelity Brewing

Hi-Fidelity is a Portland craft brewery producing small batch beers that range from bold and hoppy IPAs to rich and velvety stouts. The taproom serves onsite food including burgers and tacos and leans into a creative music-and-community identity.

Atmosphere and Setting

The brewery describes its taproom as a creative space full of creative people. Cribbage games and trivia sit alongside live music and open mic nights which gives the room a relaxed neighborhood feel rather than a formal concert atmosphere.

Original Music Open Mic

Every Monday night from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM Hi-Fidelity hosts an open mic focused on original music by local songwriters. The sign-up list goes up at the brewery at 6:30 PM. Sets run about 10 minutes with 5 minutes for setup and teardown so most performers should plan on two songs and possibly more if the night is running on time. The sound is live mixed and the brewery says the night is open to all types of performers though it prioritizes original compositions over covers.

Other Programming

Beyond the Monday open mic the brewery also hosts comedy nights and jam sessions plus live music performances and trivia throughout the week.

Bring original material and arrive by 6:30 PM to get on the list. If you mainly play covers this is probably not the right night.
