Herb's Hideout is a legendary Denver music venue housed in a historic tavern erected in 1933. Located at 2057 Larimer Street in the heart of LoDo this authentic dive bar has maintained its character through decades of Denver's evolution serving as a respite from gentrification while hosting some of the city's best live music.

Over its long tenure Herb's has worn many hats: dive bar cougar bar live-music dance hall and neighborhood gathering place. The Wednesday Open Jam
The weekly open jam has become one of Denver's most popular musician gatherings. The venue provides complete backline including drums bass guitar and PA system. Musicians can sign up when doors open at 9:30 PM and the jam runs until 1:30 AM. The event is completely free with no cover charge. The atmosphere is judgment-free and welcoming to all skill levels and genres.

Herb's is known for reasonably priced stiff drinks served by friendly staff in a welcoming environment. The bar features a good selection of local beers and well-crafted cocktails.
