Live Jazz Every Night
Green Lady Lounge features live Kansas City jazz musicians 365 days a year seven nights a week with never a cover charge. Performances run Sunday through Friday from 5 PM to 3 AM and Saturday from 2 PM to 3 AM providing late-night jazz for night owls and weekend afternoon sessions for early birds. The lounge features two stages on two levels allowing simultaneous performances upstairs and in the basement. Musicians perform only original Kansas City jazz compositions creating a unique sound you wont hear anywhere else. The performance calendar includes some of the worlds best jazz musicians both local legends and visiting artists.
Atmosphere and Ambiance
The venue embodies a speakeasy aesthetic with rich red walls vintage oil paintings crystal chandeliers and plush seating arrangements. Free of televisions guests can focus entirely on the music atmosphere and conversation. The downstairs basement lounge offers an especially intimate setting with seating close to the musicians. The upstairs level provides additional space with its own stage and vibe. Seating is first-come first-served and the venue maintains a cozy sophisticated ambiance even when packed.
