About Comanche Wells Jam

The Desert Bluegrass Association hosts a monthly jam session at Comanche Wells Mobile Home Park clubhouse. The jam is specifically designed to be beginner-friendly - welcoming players of all skill levels.

Bluegrass Community

The Desert Bluegrass Association was founded in 1995 and has over 200 family memberships. The organization promotes bluegrass music through free jam sessions - workshops - and an annual festival. They offer free Monday night classes on traditional instruments including mandolin - guitar - bass - fiddle - and banjo.

Session Details

Gates open at 9:30 AM with jamming from 10 AM to noon. The sessions focus on traditional bluegrass songs and provide an opportunity for players to practice with others in a supportive environment. Note that the jam is closed during summer months.
