Bi-monthly blues jam celebrating blues and blues-inspired songs. Participants select songs from the library or bring their own. Welcoming environment for singers and instrumentalists to explore blues traditions and connect with fellow musicians.

About Community Jams

Community Jams is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community by creating an environment that connects musicians of all abilities through live music. The studio is conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 26 and Highway 217 in Beaverton with easy TriMet access via Bus Line 20.

Regular Jam Sessions

Community Jams hosts multiple weekly jam sessions including Monday No Request Refused Jam Monday Improv Jam Thursday Themed Jams Saturday Newcomer/Explorer Jam and bi-monthly Blues and Acoustic Jams. Each session is designed to be welcoming to musicians of all skill levels.

Mission and Support

The organization receives support from Pearl Jam's Future Days Fund the Fred W. Fields fund of Oregon Community Foundation and the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation. They are also supported by the Oregon Arts Commission. Donations help cover the $24 per person per jam operating costs.
