Coastal Music Studios - Performance Venue & Teaching Studio

Established in 2012 Coastal Music Studios is a premier music and teaching studio serving North San Diego County. Located at 1006 Mission Avenue Suite E the studio has become a beloved community space for music education and live performance.

Professional Performance Space

The studio features a professional performance stage equipped with full sound and lighting systems. Coastal Music LIVE provides a quality performance opportunity with a 150-inch screen and professional audio setup. The venue regularly hosts band shows student performances and special music events.

All Ages Open Mic Nights

Open Mic Nights at Coastal Music Studios have become a favorite for students families and the broader Oceanside community. These all-ages events feature a chill coffeehouse vibe and welcome performers of all skill levels. Performers can play solo or with groups on any instrument or with pre-recorded tracks. Performance spots are scheduled first-come first-scheduled basis with approximately two hours of live music per event.

Teaching & Community Programs

Beyond performances Coastal Music Studios offers private music lessons group music sessions early childhood music and movement classes and performance coaching. The studio is founded by Andy and Pam Allen who bring twenty years of experience as touring musicians and music educators to the community.

Atmosphere & Amenities

The studio maintains a welcoming and safe environment for artistic expression. Coffee nonalcoholic beverages and snacks are available for purchase. The venue also hosts special events like the 13th Annual Christmas 4 Kidz Charity Concert and seasonal band showcase events.
