Chicora Alley Downtown is a unique Caribbean-fusion restaurant and bar that has been a Falls Park sensation for nearly two decades. Located on the second floor at the corner of Main and Boggs Streets (historical Chicora Street) the venue sits in the heart of downtown Greenville near the beautiful Reedy River area.

Live Music Programming

Chicora Alley features live jazz blues and reggae music almost every night of the week. The venue hosts open blues jams on the first second and third Wednesdays of each month starting at 8 PM where musicians are invited to bring their instruments and amplifiers with drums and bass provided. Wednesday nights are reserved for jazz programming with jazz jams on select weeks and big band performances. The venue regularly features the Greenville Jazz Collective and other talented local musicians. The intimate setting with its cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal venue for both performers and music enthusiasts.

Food and Drink

The restaurant specializes in flavorful Southern-Caribbean fusion cuisine offering both vegan and meat options. Popular menu items include the famous Mile High Nachos vegan burritos mushroom burgers black bean burgers beef brisket and shrimp dishes. History and Atmosphere

The name Chicora comes from the Native American word meaning Land of the Healing Breeze. The building sits on land that was once part of the Chicora College campus.
