Since 1984 Rosa's Lounge has been a cornerstone of the Chicago blues scene. This intimate 100-capacity venue in Logan Square has hosted legendary blues personalities and continues to nurture new talent.

The Blues Jam Tradition

Rosa's Blues Jam has featured iconic artists like Chico Chism Buddy Scott James Wheeler Melvin Taylor Sugar Blue Lil Ed and Mary Lane. The jam welcomes both seasoned recording artists and novices creating an environment focused on classic Blues songs and respecting the genres black creators.

Recent Developments

In 2025 Rosa's Lounge launched Rosa's Lounge Records an independent record label dedicated to spotlighting unrecorded Chicago talent. The venue continues to attract younger crowds while maintaining its authentic blues atmosphere.
