Poor House Bistro brings the sights sounds and tastes of New Orleans to San Jose. This unique venue is housed in a historic Victorian home that was moved to its current location in San Jose's Little Italy district. The venue features live music Wednesday through Sunday with a blues jam on Wednesdays the PHB Famiglia Band on Thursdays and rotating blues acts on weekends. Sunday brunches feature jazz artists while afternoon sets can include blues rock reggae or country - always free. The outdoor patio provides an intimate setting for performances making it a favorite gathering spot for blues fans and musicians. Poor House also hosts a stage at the annual San Jose Fountain Blues & Brews Festival.
