The Audacious Space
The Audacious Space is home to an immersive theater world called the Van Helsing Society in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood. Its themed bar and archives set the stage for one of the most unusual open mics in Colorado.
Monster Open Mic
On the first Friday of the month the Society hosts the Monster Open Mic from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with doors at 6:30 PM. Musicians and storytellers and poets and other performers are invited to share material inspired by myth and folklore and fantasy and the supernatural. Slots of 10 to 15 minutes can be reserved online and standby spots may open at the door. Performers must check in by 6:45 PM. Audience admission is free and the Society bar is open.
Good Fit For
Songwriters with a spooky ballad or a folk tale to tell and anyone who loves a themed night.
